What is CREO SPRING SERIES organised by Triathlon Estonia?
In a classical, draft-legal triathlon competition, athletes usually form smaller groups in which they complete the bike course and arrive to the transition area. CREO KEVADSARI, according to the author of the format Marek Antoniak, is an opportunity to try a different style of triathlon before the competition season – one with a more aggressive bike course and a faster transition area. Taking place in Keila in April and June, shorter distances are run in order to have bigger groups for biking.
Other key points:
- Shorter running courses
- Bonus seconds for cycle course intermediate winners
- Mass starts to bike course
- More transition areas?
This competition style offers a good chance for young athletes to try something new and is an adrenaline-rich experience for others. Cycling in a group, on a narrow and winding track requires sharp attention and quick reaction to maintain and improve your position.
The final result is combined from the three events.
